Nebraska evenings

One of my favorite things about this time of year is that the sun sets about the time I'm in the kitchen working on dinner. Which means I get to admire the fiery array of colors just about every night! It can be amazing! Here are a few shots I've snapped just in the last month...

So true! Last night the kids and I were saying it was a perfect combination of pink and blue cotton candy! (with a little purple too.)

I always think they would make beautiful art...but when I see them painted they look fake. Like nothing that colorful and pretty could be real. Same thing when the skies are bright light blue with cotton ball clouds. We call it Mario sky because it looks like the sky off of Mario brothers. :)
