The kids (+ 1 our cousin was over) were enjoying the beautiful weather yesterday afternoon. They happily chatted away as they chalked up our drive way. I was sitting on the porch step reading the mail. I must not have been paying as much attention as I thought I was...but my attention sure perked up when I heard one of my girls yell "Hey, Larry- Do you want to see our crime scene?" to our neighbor (the determined little mower man that I once referenced here).
Crime what?! I immediately turn my head towards the drive way...errr I mean crime scene! My entire driveway was covered in chalk outlines complete with cause of death, flowers and RIPs.
Our cousin died from poison- notice the skull and cross bones!
Corynn was flattened- by a big old dump truck!
